As a real estate professional of over 35 years and a real estate broker and owner of RED Diamond Realty, I can attest that required repairs are often the most stressful part of almost every real estate transaction.

I have worked with Realtors and contractors on every type of project. We used to offer our professional contractor services only to Realtors and in-home healthcare agencies, but now ANY HOMEOWNER WHO NEEDS REPAIRS can sign into the Housefixers website or app and find a local, vetted professional. We estimate the cost, find the contractor for the job, schedule the project, and work with the homeowner every step of the way until the project is satisfactorily completed. The best way to understand Housefixrs is to think of us as Uber for contractors. We interview thousands of professionals before they are allowed access to the Housefixers platform. Once a contractor is approved, they can sign in at any time and "snag" a job near them in their line of work. We assemble the team, schedule the repairs, and work with the homeowner every step of the way until the job is done.

The company, first established in 2002, took off instantly as FHAOK incorporated and was primarily for FHA-required repairs. As the in-home healthcare industry grew, we realized that an entire market unrelated to real estate transactions was also unrecognized, encompassing repairs for in-home healthcare patients. FHAOk was a confusing brand name for this target market. And HouseFixrs was born.

FHA and VA Loan Repairs: Both FHA and VA loans have specific property requirements to ensure safety, structural integrity, and sanitation. For instance, the VA has established Minimum Property Requirements (MPRs) to protect the interests of Veterans, lenders, servicers, and the VA. Properties must meet these requirements before the VA guarantees the loan.
Buyer-Requested Repairs: Addressing any concerns or modifications requested by the buyer to ensure satisfaction and compliance with the sale agreement.
City Inspection Repairs: Rectifying issues identified during mandatory city inspections to comply with local regulations and codes.
Standard home repairs. We now offer homeowners access to our repair teams. Even if you're not moving!

Our PROCESS

Consultation: We review the description of the repairs and provide a reasonable estimate of the cost.
Proposal: The homeowner is provided with a detailed repair plan outlining the scope of work and expected timelines of the project. If the cost and timeline are acceptable, the homeowner hits "fixit".
Execution: Our team of licensed and vetted professionals is carefully selected based on the specific skills they provide for the required repairs. Our assembled team performs the repairs efficiently, quickly, and to the highest standards, ensuring all requirements are met. Payment from escrow is only made once the homeowner has agreed in writing that the job is completed to their satisfaction.
